Yesterday, we hosted a special vernissage at our company. It was organized by the delegation team led by Dr. Kathrin Schnaufer, who recently traveled to Rwanda to inaugurate a school – a heartfelt project that we helped fund through donations.
The trip left a lasting impression – from the warmth of the people and the vibrant culture to the powerful importance of education. To share these experiences with the entire team, the idea of a vernissage was born.
📸 Through photos and personal stories, colleagues could immerse themselves in life in Rwanda and the spirit of the school opening.
🍛 Traditional Rwandan food was prepared by employees – together with one of our three apprentices from Rwanda, who was part of the delegation and attended the school opening in her home country.
🤝 We were honored to welcome Peter Klöckner, former mayor of the Hachenburg municipality and active member of the "Partnership Rhineland-Palatinate–Rwanda" association, who accompanied the trip and provided local expertise.
An evening of exchange, connection, and shared values – a beautiful example of how global responsibility and inclusive culture can come to life in the workplace.
